Manage-TBI

Management of TB Infection in People Living with HIV in European settings (MANAGE-TBI) Study
What is it about?
- People with latent tuberculosis infection (TBI) constitute a large source of active-TB.
- Approximately 25% of the world’s population has TBI, but only <5% are diagnosed and treated to prevent TB.
- Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) have the highest rates of TB/HIV coinfection and the largest reservoir of TBI in Europe.
- Management of TBI among people living with HIV in CEE remains scattered and requires urgent benchmarking
- MANAGE-TBI Study is a non-interventional observational study to define best TB preventive strategies among people living with HIV
If you would like to make a difference and join the study please fill in the feasibility survey.
The MANAGE-TBI Study is supported by WEEPI Foundation Research Grant (Nr. 337-2025).
The MANAGE-TBI Study Launch Meeting will take place at EACS Conference 2025 in Paris. Please find the invitation here.
