Damla Akdağ is a faculty member in the Department of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology at Ege University, where she also completed her medical residency in 2020. Since 2024, she has been
serving as an Assistant Professor, contributing to clinical practice and academic research. She is a board member of the AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Infections Society. Her primary interests include optimizing clinical management for people living with HIV, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), biomedical prevention strategies, and enhancing vaccination awareness.
